Olfish is capable of collecting, analyzing, plotting, mapping, reporting, tracing and transmitting all data related to commercial fishing operations. Olfish is now the only product of its kind that combines a highly sophisticated electronic logbook and GIS system with a fully functional tracing system. Olfish is utilised by a variety of users and interest groups such as skippers, commercial managers, scientists, enforcement agents, quota managers, observers, conservation groups, factory managers, fleet managers, gear technologists and more. Olfish is a multi-fisheries, multi-species, generic but still highly customisable software product. It was specifically designed to address the complex data collection and reporting requirements of modern fishing operations. All Olfish components are fully integrated to create a user-friendly data management system to be used on the vessel bridge and/or the vessel processing area or the fishing deck to collect and transmit fishing data in real time. |
